Pimento Cheese
You can get all funky with Pimento Cheese if you've got some sort of grudge to nurse with perfection. Try to restrain yourself. This is as it was intended to be.
"Vuolsi cosi cola si puote!"..Dante, Inferno
2/3 lb. Mild Cheddar cheese, grated
1/3 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
1 (4 oz.) Jar pimientos, chopped and well-drained
1 Tbsp. Sugar
Dash salt
Dash white pepper
Dash garlic powder
Dash Tabasco
Mayonnaise to moisten (about 1 c.)
Combine all ingredients, mix thoroughly. Deeps for several days refrigerated.
